Job summary

Airwallex in London is seeking a sharp, globally minded Senior Employment Counsel with deep UK employment law expertise to join our growing legal team. Based in our London office and reporting to the Associate Director, Employment Legal in San Francisco, this role will serve as the primary employment law advisor for our UK and EMEA operations while supporting matters worldwide.

Qualifications

• 5–11 years’ PQE focusing on UK employment law.
• Qualified solicitor in England and Wales; additional EMEA experience is a plus.
• Experience in both in-house and law firm environments preferred.
• Strong communication skills across time zones.

Responsibilities

• Advise UK and EMEA teams on the full range of UK employment issues.
• Lead internal workplace investigations.
• Develop and scale employment processes, policies, and training.
• Manage cross-border employment matters, including remote work and mobility.
• Collaborate with regional colleagues to ensure consistency.
