Job summary

Airwallex is looking for a Senior Employment Counsel to join their legal team in Amsterdam. The successful candidate will serve as the primary advisor for UK and EMEA employment law issues, supporting hiring, performance management, and compliance across the region.

With 5–11 years of experience in UK employment law and qualifications in other EMEA jurisdictions seen as a plus, this role also requires excellent communication skills and the ability to navigate complex legal environments.

Qualifications

• 5–11 years’ post‑qualification experience focused primarily on UK employment law.
• Qualified solicitor in England and Wales; additional qualifications in other EMEA jurisdictions a plus.
• Proven ability to lead or advise on sensitive employee relations matters.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the go‑to employment counsel for UK and EMEA teams.
• Conduct and oversee internal workplace investigations.
• Develop and scale employment processes through policies and training.
