Job summary

Qualifications

• MBO level 4 qualification or equivalent.
• At least 4 years of experience in a similar position.
• Proficient in Dutch and English (spoken and written).
• Accurate with handling customer data.
• Able to connect with people at various levels.
• Stress resistant with planning and organizing skills.
• Basic knowledge of Word and Excel is an advantage.

Responsibilities

• Receive, confirm and enter orders from customers.
• Assign freight to strategic carriers while balancing price and lead times.
• Draw up loading instructions and send them to the carrier.
• Provide daily outbound transport planning to customers/warehouse.
• Instruct carriers, trailer operators or container operators for trips.
• Coordinate container transport including heavy containers.
• Plan and follow up FTL transports.
• Coordinate groupage shipments via KLG Venlo.
• Follow up shipments daily (in-transit monitoring).
• Handle administrative obligations with customers, consignees, carriers and internal teams.
• Communicate daily with carriers, customers and consignees.
• Receive complaints and resolve them or forward them.
