Job summary

Maersk is seeking a Senior Terminal Solution Manager in Rotterdam to own how a port complex performs for customers. You will lead the Hub/Terminal Solution team, coordinate across terminals, towage, pilots and agents, and ensure cargo moves smoothly while shaping tomorrow’s terminal organisation through data and technology.

You will drive end-to-end optimization, manage disruptions, and develop strategic initiatives to improve performance, cost-to-serve and customer outcomes in a dynamic port

Qualifications

• Experience in shipping, ocean operations, marine or terminal operations.
• Leadership/people-management experience with results through others.

Responsibilities

• Own the customer and operational experience across the terminal complex.
• Take accountability for port-complex performance across terminals and partners.
• Lead execution and long-term design planning to secure customer outcomes and asset capabilities.
• Shape yard and gate strategies to keep cargo moving and terminal fluid.
• Investigate root causes when performance drifts and implement lasting improvements.
• Coordinate local response to disruptions, strikes and incidents with crisis-management stakeholders.
• Lead and develop the Hub/Terminal Solution team; spot opportunities for growth.
• Collaborate with terminal partners to drive closer cooperation and efficiency.
