Van Oord is seeking a dedicated Tender Engineer in the Product Line Cables & Pipelines to drive the tender process for offshore energy projects. You will coordinate with Engineering, Operations and Ship Management to develop accurate production estimates and compelling proposals.

Based in Gorinchem, NL, you bring a technical degree and 7–8 years of relevant experience, strong English, analytical skills, and a collaborative mindset.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in a technical field.
• Approx. 7–8 years of relevant work experience in a similar position or project position.
• Experience in offshore energy and/or offshore cable installation projects.
• Customer minded and a representative attitude.
• Strong analytical skills with an eye for detail.
• Solution driven and hands-on mindset.
• Collaborative way of working.
• Excellent command of English, both spoken and written.

Responsibilities

• Analyse client requests and develop execution strategies.
• Coordinate with Engineering, Operations and Ship Management to draft accurate production estimates.
• Liaise with subcontractors in coordination with procurement.
• Organise and manage tender processes and documentation.
• Actively develop expertise by monitoring market developments and opportunities for Van Oord.
