Job summary

Vattenfall is seeking an experienced Telecommunications Engineer to lead the service delivery for mission-critical telecom systems across wind farms and OT environments. You will combine hands-on engineering with functional leadership of a dedicated service team, ensuring secure, reliable operation and timely improvements in monitoring, control and data services.

You will work with customers and stakeholders across Europe, managing incidents, changes and lifecycle plans, while aligning resources

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in telecommunications, electrical engineering or related discipline.
Several years of hands-on experience in engineering, deployment and/or operations support for telecom, tracking and surveillance systems.
Ability to translate operational needs into clear priorities, responsibilities and delivery plans.
Strong written and spoken English skills for technical and non-technical stakeholders.

Responsibilities

Deliver and operate services within the agreed scope, including monitoring, troubleshooting, maintenance and lifecycle activities.
Lead and coordinate the service team’s activities, including incident response, backlog management and supplier involvement.
Monitor SLAs and KPIs, report on availability and incidents, and drive continual improvement.
Provide guidance during incidents, support root-cause analysis and implement corrective actions.
Coordinate with stakeholders and other teams to ensure secure, reliable telecom services across wind farms.
