DeltaQuad is seeking a Senior Development Program Manager to steer multiple VTOL UAV developments from concept to proven airworthy solution. You will own MVP definitions, drive rapid build-test-learn cycles, and lead a cross-functional team across mechanical, electrical, software, systems and test & flight.
As tech lead and project manager, you will gate stages and hand concepts to Engineering for industrialization.
As a Senior Development Program Manager, you lead new VTOL UAV drone developments from first idea to proven concept. With the quality, durability, and development speed today’s world requires.
DeltaQuad develops advanced VTOL UAV systems for defense, public safety, and commercial operators worldwide. Demand is growing fast, and so is the number of developments we run in parallel. That is why we are building an organization that can scale with it.
You are an experienced engineer, experienced in the field of program management, and seek to take full ownership of development: from first requirements and MVP to a concept that is proven in the air.
Within R&D, you manage a portfolio of multiple parallel developments. You define the MVPs, drive short build-test-learn cycles, and make sure new ideas get into the air quickly, so we learn what works and what does not. Along the way, you lead a multidisciplinary team across mechanical, electrical, software, systems and test & flight, and you make the technical trade-offs together with them.
You are tech lead and project manager in one. You take each development through our stage gates, hand proven concepts over to Engineering for industrialization, and keep our Head of R&D informed. This role is key to how we grow: our ambition is to run 10 to 20 developments at the same time, and that only works with Program Managers who truly own their portfolio.
You have built your career in technical product development, and you thrive where new ideas still need to prove themselves. You hold a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Aerospace, Systems Engineering, or a related field, and you know when an agile approach fits and when a more sequential one works better.
Experience with UAVs, robotics, aerospace, or defense, and R&D in a fast-growing tech company.
Your developments go from idea to proven concept faster, with clear decisions at every gate. Engineers know where they stand, and new ideas no longer wait for one person to have time.
Please note: As part of our recruitment process, we may request a Certificate of Conduct (VOG) and conduct a background screening in accordance with our screening policy.
