Connect-AI in Delft is seeking a Senior Systems Architect to define and evolve complex platform architectures spanning hardware, firmware and software.

You will translate requirements into scalable system-level designs, ensure interfaces align across teams, and focus on performance, latency and determinism.

The role requires 8+ years in multidisciplinary environments, advanced degrees, and a track record delivering high-assurance systems.

Qualifications

• Master’s or PhD in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering or a related technical discipline.
• 8+ years of experience in systems architecture or systems engineering.
• Experience working with complex, multidisciplinary hardware/software systems.
• Experience with real-time, low-latency systems.
• Strong knowledge of high-speed digital and/or mixed-signal systems.
• Experience translating system-level objectives into detailed engineering requirements.

Responsibilities

• Defining and evolving end-to-end system architectures across hardware and software.
• Establishing system boundaries, interfaces and technical ownership across multidisciplinary engineering teams.
• Designing architectures where real-time performance and deterministic execution are critical.
