Job summary

Vinted Group in Amsterdam, Netherlands, is seeking a Senior SRE Engineer II for the Observability Infra team to build and operate software and infrastructure behind observability platforms. You will work with Go and Kubernetes across multiple regions, owning solutions from design to production and driving the team’s technical direction.

Qualifications

• Strong backend and system design skills with Go production experience.
• Hands-on Kubernetes deployment, operation, and troubleshooting.
• Ability to own distributed systems across production lifecycle.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop backend services, APIs, and automation for observability platforms.
• Build and operate reliable, scalable services on Kubernetes.
• Develop self-service capabilities using metrics, logs, and tracing products.
• Evolve Prometheus, Thanos, OpenTelemetry, and Elasticsearch-based platforms.
• Lead technical initiatives from design to production and resolve complex issues.
• Participate in on-call rotation for observability products (roughly every 5–7 weeks).
