Job summary

Swift is seeking a Senior SRE to join our growing engineering team, focused on a modern OpenShift platform hosting critical applications. You will help build, operate and evolve the platform across Europe and the US, aligning reliability standards with enterprise-scale cloud-native adoption.

The role emphasizes automation, site reliability engineering, and continuous improvement, collaborating with cross-functional squads and participating in on-call rotations to maintain service levels.

Qualifications

Proven experience as a Site Reliability Engineer, Platform Engineer or Senior DevOps Engineer.
Strong hands-on expertise with OpenShift and/or Kubernetes.
Experience designing and operating observability solutions (logging, monitoring, alerting).
Defining and managing SLIs/SLOs/SLAs and error budgets.
Strong understanding of production operations, incident response and reliability engineering.
Passion for automation and continuous improvement.

Responsibilities

Shape and operate Swift's OpenShift platform ensuring high availability and scalability.
Design and implement observability capabilities across metrics, logs and traces.
Develop and maintain scalable monitoring and logging solutions (ELK).
Onboard workloads to the platform and promote SRE best practices.
Drive incident management and post-incident learning to improve reliability.
