Job summary

Hikrobot is seeking a seasoned professional to lead pre-sales for warehouse automation projects across Europe. You will conduct customer requirement analyses, solution design, and participate in tenders. Ideal candidates possess a Bachelor's degree in Engineering and over 7 years of industry experience, particularly in AGV/AMR or large-scale system integration.

Proficiency in AutoCAD and MS Office is required, with a strong emphasis on communication and stakeholder management. Fluent English and Dutch or German are essential, while additional language skills are appreciated.

Job description

Your Mission

• Lead the pre-sales activities for warehouse automation projects across Europe, including customer requirement analysis, site surveys, data analysis, business process assessment, solution design, layout planning, and solution comparison.
• Take ownership of technical solution development throughout the sales cycle and provide consultancy to customers on warehouse automation concepts and best practices.
• Participate in tender and bidding activities by preparing technical proposals, bid documentation, and commercial support materials.
• Review and respond to tender specifications, provide technical clarifications, and present proposed solutions to customers and stakeholders.
• Gather, analyze, and consolidate customer requirements and feedback, and collaborate with internal teams to drive continuous improvements in products and solutions.
• Support detailed engineering activities after project award and provide technical support during commissioning, testing, and project acceptance phases.
• Act as the key technical interface among Sales, Project Delivery, R&D, and other internal stakeholders to ensure effective communication and successful project execution.

Your Profile

• Bachelor's degree or above in Engineering, preferably in Automation, Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Logistics, or related disciplines.
• Minimum 7 years of experience in AGV/AMR, intralogistics, or warehouse automation industries. Experience with large-scale system integration projects or WMS processes is considered a strong advantage.
• Proven ability to identify customer needs, develop competitive automation solutions, and provide professional technical consultancy during the pre‑sales and bidding phases.
• Strong analytical skills with experience in process design, data analysis, and warehouse layout design.
• Proficient in AutoCAD and MS Office applications, especially PowerPoint and Excel. Experience with simulation software, e.g. Flexsim, is an advantage.
• Excellent communication, presentation, problem‑solving, and stakeholder management skills.
• Fluent in English and Dutch or German. Additional European languages are considered a plus.
