Job summary

Allseas is seeking a Senior System Engineer to lead the design and implementation of in-house software that powers cutting-edge offshore equipment. You will guide a multidisciplinary team to transform sensor data and simulations into actionable software products.

You will steer architecture for monitoring, dashboards, and automation, ensuring alignment with mechanical goals and digital intelligence. Offshore exposure and ownership are key aspects of the role.

Qualifications

• Solid experience in programming, software architecture, and monitoring of mechanical systems.
• Fluent English, written and spoken.
• Willingness to learn and work independently.
• Team player with broad technology interest.
• Proficiency in Python, Go, SQL, or C/C++.

Responsibilities

• Lead software development projects for engineering applications, from concept to deployment, ensuring technical excellence and alignment with system requirements.
• Design and oversee software architecture for integrated monitoring systems, enabling real-time decision-making and automation.
• Develop algorithms and processing logic that turn raw sensor data and simulation results into actionable insights.
• Mentor and support other engineers, fostering a culture of innovation, quality, and continuous improvement.
