Job summary

SiTime Corp. seeks a Senior Software Engineer focused on Computational Geometry to develop and refine our MEMS simulation and design software.

You will architect geometry-handling modules and automate geometry preparation for meshing and simulations, collaborating with MEMS design engineers to address new challenges. The role requires 5+ years in C++ and a strong math background; Open CASCADE experience is a plus.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in a relevant scientific or engineering discipline.
• 3+ years of coding in Computational Geometry with strong mathematical background (Analytic Geometry, Linear Algebra).
• 5+ years of C++ proficiency; Java and Python are a plus.
• Experience with shape optimization algorithms and geometry parametrization is a plus.
• Knowledge of Open CASCADE or similar libraries is advantageous.
• Experience with modern software development practices: version control, tests, reviews, etc.
• Strong collaboration and communication skills; English proficiency.

Responsibilities

• Develop architecture for geometry-handling modules.
• Implement geometry-handling modules using libraries such as Open CASCADE.
• Design and integrate modules within the design platform; contribute to stack decisions.
• Lead investigations into shape optimization across multiple design constraints.
• Gather user feedback and update development roadmap.
• Deliver high-quality code with tests, reviews, and documentation.
