Job summary

SiTime Corporation seeks a Sr. MEMS Development Engineer to advance MEMS technology and resonators for next‑generation timing products. You will design devices, run experiments, and interpret results to push performance, reliability, and yield.

Join a collaborative team, drive innovative MEMS solutions, and contribute to cross‑functional projects across circuits, systems, and packaging. PhD is welcome and experience with automation is a plus.

Qualifications

• MS in Electrical Engineering or Mechanical Engineering, Physics or equivalent; PhD preferred.
• 1+ years of industry experience preferred.
• Ability to design, conduct, and analyze experiments.
• Excellent knowledge of MEMS devices, mechanics, electrodynamics, thermodynamics.
• Coding proficiency with MATLAB or Python and measurement automation experience preferred.
• Finite Element Simulation experience preferred.
• PCB design experience and oscillator fundamentals preferred.

Responsibilities

• Design MEMS devices and characterize their electrical, mechanical, and thermal performance.
• Extend and enhance automated infrastructure for MEMS characterization and design.
• Perform Failure Analysis on SiTime products.
• Design, run, and analyze experiments to understand device physics, materials and fabrication.
• Interface with local and overseas vendors.
• Work in cross-functional teams, including Circuits, Systems, and Packaging.
• Drive and/or support projects and other company goals as needed.
