SiTime Corp. is seeking a Senior Software Engineer focused on Computational Geometry to advance our MEMS simulation and design software. You will design and implement geometry-handling modules, and automate geometry preparation for meshing and simulation across multiple physical domains.
You will work with MEMS Design engineers to identify missing functionalities and develop tools for new design challenges, ensuring manufacturability and high-quality code.
SiTime is the Precision Timing company.
Timing is the heartbeat of all electronics, ensuring performance, resilience and scalability. For decades, quartz devices, non-silicon technology, have kept systems in sync, but they struggle in harsher, more demanding environments. MEMS-based Precision Timing delivers greater accuracy, smaller size and resilience. Today, MEMS timing powers over 400 applications, including high-growth ones in AI datacenters, automated driving, industrial and humanoid robots, wearables and IoT.
Our semiconductor MEMS programmable solutions offer a rich feature set that enables customers to differentiate their products with higher performance, smaller size, lower power, and better reliability. With more than 4 billion devices shipped, SiTime is changing the timing industry. For more information, visit: www.sitime.com.
SiTime is seeking a Senior Software Engineer with the focus on Computational Geometry to join our team in developing and refining our in-house MEMS simulation and design software. The team comprises software developers, computational experts, and physicists with the primary responsibility to develop and maintain the MEMS simulation and design environment, which involves orchestrating complex simulations across multiple physical domains, implementing advanced mathematical algorithms, analyzing trade-offs between key characteristics, and ensuring design for manufacturability. As the Senior Software Engineer and the Computational Geometry Expert, you will work on the automation of geometric operations throughout the design flow, automated preparation of geometry to meshing and simulations, and complex shape optimization problems. You will collaborate with MEMS Design engineers as your primary internal customers to identify missing functionalities and develop tools addressing the new design challenges.
