Job summary

SiTime Corp. is seeking an experienced R&D Manager to lead the MEMS simulation and design software team. You will orchestrate complex multi-physics simulations, guide algorithm development, and ensure high predictive power and manufacturability of models.

Collaborate with Design, Fabrication, and Metrology teams to align milestones with the product roadmap. You will manage engineers, collect feedback from internal users, and identify missing functionalities.

Qualifications

• PhD in Physics, Mechanical Engineering, or equivalent.
• Strong background in Finite Element Analysis and multiphysics applications.
• Experience leading research or development teams is a strong advantage.
• Coding skills in Python or MATLAB for data analysis and automation.
• Fluent English communication, written and spoken.

Responsibilities

• Guide the implementation of new modules and features for the MEMS simulation platform.
• Manage 2–5 engineers; participate in hiring activities.
• Communicate with MEMS designers, project leaders, and department leaders to collect feedback and feature requests.
• Contribute to maintaining the development roadmap aligned with product roadmap.
• Analyze platform accuracy and performance; compare simulations with experimental data.
• Provide occasional consultations and training to MEMS design engineers.
