Job summary

SiTime is seeking an R&D Manager to join our team in developing and refining our in-house MEMS simulation and design software. The team comprises software developers, computational experts, and physicists who develop and maintain the MEMS simulation and design environment.

Qualifications

• PhD in Physics or Mechanical Engineering required.
• Extensive experience with FEA tools (COMSOL/ANSYS).
• Strong mathematical and computational skills.
• Experience in personnel and project management is a plus.
• English fluency in written and spoken communication.

Responsibilities

• Guide new modules and verify new features for the MEMS platform.
• Manage 2–5 engineers; participate in hiring.
• Communicate with MEMS designers, project leaders, and department leaders to collect feedback and feature requests.
• Maintain development roadmap aligned with product roadmap and incoming requests.
• Develop platform and analyze accuracy and performance; compare simulations with experimental data.
• Provide occasional training to MEMS design engineers.
