Job summary

Weare currently looking for a Software Engineer with a proven background in software developmentto join theteamin The Hague

As a Senior Software Engineer in the AS & DSdepartment, you will work alongside your colleagues to ensure thatinnovative solutions are successfully implemented in the Defence related field.

Togetherwith a multidisciplinary project team, you will take our innovative software solutions and turn them into fully functional, production-grade code. This could involve developing software for tasks such as classifying naval vessels or identifying and tracking airborne objects.

As a Software Engineer, you will be at the forefront of transforming innovative solutions into fully functioning software. You’ll be part of a dynamic team where you'll provide technical leadership, work with cutting-edge technologies, and contribute to projects that make a meaningful impact in military innovation.

Key Responsibilities:

Requirements

• Solid Experience in software development (preferably in multiple languages) and a highstandard for code quality.
• The ability to develop backend and frontend applications from start to finish,using modern tools and technologies.
• Experience with Git, unit testing, and issue tracking.
• A willingness to continue developing your software skills while also mentoringnew colleagues.
• An academic background in a relevant technical field.
• Knowledge of and experience with multiple modern programming languages (e.g.,Java, Python, C++, C#, TypeScript, Rust) and modern software tools (e.g., Docker,Kubernetes, GitLab)
