Job summary
Sioux Technologies in Eindhoven develops high-tech semiconductor equipment. You will design and implement PLC-based machine control and higher-level software in C++/C# across full stack, from TwinCAT/Siemens PLCs to system software.
The role blends control engineering with modern software practices in a challenging, fast-paced environment. You’ll work with Scrum teams, contribute to greenfield and legacy architectures, and travel within the Netherlands and parts of Europe in a hybrid
Qualifications
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science or related field.
- 5–10+ years in high-tech machine building and software development.
- Strong PLC-based machine control experience and SECS/GEM proficiency.
Responsibilities
- Design and define PLC and machine control software across full stack.
- Translate requirements into robust, modular designs from PLC to system software.
- Own modules or subsystems and ensure cohesive designs across teams.
- Bridge control engineering and software engineering with a hands-on approach.
- Contribute to greenfield and legacy architectures for high-tech equipment.
