Job summary

Sioux is seeking a Software Designer to design applications that collect, process, and visualize diagnostic machine data. You will join a team responsible for extracting and analyzing data from complex high-tech machines, developing reliable software components to monitor performance and support continuous improvement.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science or similar.
• 5+ years of software development experience.
• Strong Python development experience; C++ helpful; MATLAB is a bonus.
• Experience in Linux-based environments, Git, and CI/CD practices.
• Proficient in OO programming and software design patterns.
• Experience in software architecture, system-level design, performance optimization, and debugging.
• Excellent communication and cross-functional teamwork skills.
• Experience in semiconductor/high-tech or embedded software is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, test, and maintain software applications and components.
• Translate system and business requirements into technical solutions and participate in architecture discussions.
• Ensure software quality through code reviews, unit/integration testing, and CI practices.
• Analyze, troubleshoot, and resolve defects and performance issues.
• Support software integration, qualification, and release activities.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams across software, customer service, and integration domains.
