Job summary

Sioux in Eindhoven is seeking a Software Designer to design applications that collect, process, and visualize diagnostic machine data for monitoring performance and driving continuous improvements.

You will work with engineers to develop reliable software components in Python and/or C++, in a Linux environment, and contribute to architecture, testing, and deployment. The role offers hybrid work with coaching and a €6,000 training budget.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science or similar.
• 5+ years of experience in software development.
• Strong Python software development experience, with C++ knowledge a plus.
• Experience in Linux-based development environments, Git, and CI/CD.
• Knowledge of object‑oriented programming and design patterns.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, test, and maintain software applications that collect, process, and visualize diagnostic machine data.
• Collaborate with engineers and stakeholders to deliver reliable and scalable software components.
• Participate in software architecture discussions and code reviews.
• Support software integration, qualification, and release activities.
• Contribute to continuous improvement of development methodologies and tooling.
