Job summary

Philips is seeking a Senior Software Architect for Robotic Procedure Automation (RPA) UI and clinical software. You will define architecture, set technical direction, and guide integration across workflow, usability, and system behavior.

The role requires leading design activities, ensuring nonfunctional and regulatory standards are met, and coordinating with cross-site teams. You will contribute to architecture decisions, design history, and verification plans, while supporting product security

Qualifications

10+ years of experience in software architecture, design and implementation in C++, or regulated medical-device software development.
Ability to translate clinical workflow and product needs into clear software architecture and design decisions.
Experience in regulatory requirements, documentation, traceability and design controls.

Responsibilities

Define architecture and technical direction for RPA UI and clinical/application software.
Lead design reviews, code reviews and implementation to align with roadmap and quality standards.
Collaborate across cross-site teams to align architecture, plans and deliverables.
Support QMS adherence and IEC 62304/ISO 13485 process expectations.
