Job summary

Philips in Best, Netherlands, seeks a Senior Software Architect to own architecture for robotic procedure automation UI and clinical software, guiding technical direction and integration across workflow, usability, and system behavior.

You will lead design/implementation with C++ where applicable, ensuring alignment with roadmap and regulatory expectations, while collaborating across cross-site teams and suppliers in Best and Cambridge.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of software architecture/design experience in healthcare, robotics, or hardware-integrated systems.
• Ability to translate clinical workflow and system needs into clear software architecture and deliverables.
• Experience with C++, system integration, and regulatory medical-device software development.

Responsibilities

• Serve as a Senior Software Architect for RPA UI and clinical/application software, defining architecture and technical direction across workflow, usability, and system behavior.
• Lead architecture and design reviews, code reviews, and ensure nonfunctional and regulatory requirements are met.
• Drive development activities for RPA UI and clinical workflow software, including design documentation and roadmap alignment.
