Job summary

Telespazio Belgium is seeking a highly skilled Senior Small Satellites Engineer to contribute to In-Orbit Technology Demonstration Projects at ESTEC, Netherlands, as a contractor for Telespazio Belgium.

Applicants must achieve security clearance eligibility and have a strong background in space systems architecture, requirements, and early-phase engineering. Hybrid work is offered with relocation support.

Qualifications

• Experience with reviews and technical monitoring of industrial activities.
• Knowledge of Space Engineering Standards and their implementation.
• Understanding of space missions and spacecraft systems design.
• Systems engineering in early project phases including budgets and trade-offs.

Responsibilities

• Provide system engineering support for In-Orbit Technology Demonstration Projects.
• Assist in system architectures and operations concepts definition.
• Assist in systems and subsystems design definition activities.
• Manage requirements and traceability from Space Segment to subsystems and interfaces.
• Identify main system drivers and support trade-off discussions.
• Contribute to budgets and compliance checks across the project life-cycle.
• Support qualification, acceptance tests, and verification activities at all levels.
• Assist in risk identification and mitigation with schedule impact monitoring.
• Interface with engineering disciplines and QA to support system engineering.
