Job summary

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Software Engineering or a related technical discipline.
• Minimum of 8 to 10+ years of progressive professional experience in enterprise software architecture, IT consulting and ServiceNow platform development.
• Mandatory active ServiceNow CMA or CIS certifications across core modules.
• Strong hands-on operational expertise in ServiceNow configuration, advanced scripting (JavaScript) and integration frameworks.
• Proven track record delivering large-scale enterprise ServiceNow projects from inception to go-live.
• Exceptional stakeholder management and cross-functional leadership.

Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end ServiceNow architecture design, governance and solution scoping for complex enterprise implementations in the Netherlands.
• Design scalable solutions across ITSM, ITOM, CSM, HRSD and custom scoped applications.
• Oversee and guide technical development teams in configuring Business Rules, Client Scripts, Script Includes, Flow Designer and Workflow automation.
• Establish robust integration architectures connecting ServiceNow with external systems via REST, SOAP APIs, MID Server and IntegrationHub.
• Conduct design reviews, code audits and architecture assessments to ensure performance and upgradeability.
• Collaborate with business stakeholders, enterprise architects, security officers and project managers.
• Define governance frameworks, naming conventions, update set management policies and maintenance strategies.
• Document architecture blueprints, integration runbooks and platform roadmap reports.
