Job summary

CGS in Utrecht is seeking a Senior Sales Specialist to drive growth in a fast-growing cleantech company focused on smarter energy systems.

You will build and manage your own target accounts and sales pipeline, translate complex technology into clear business value, and collaborate with technical colleagues to tailor solutions for customers across the Dutch energy sector.

Ideal candidates have about 5 years in sales, a strong energy/cleantech interest, and fluent Dutch and English communication.

Qualifications

• About 5 years in sales, business development or similar.
• Genuine interest in energy, cleantech or technical environment.
• Commercially driven, proactive, able to create opportunities.
• Strong technical affinity connecting technical and commercial stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Build and manage your own target accounts and sales pipeline.
• Identify opportunities and close deals from first conversation.
• Develop long-term customer relationships as a trusted partner.
• Collaborate with technical colleagues to tailor solutions.
• Translate complex technology into clear business value.
• Monitor Dutch energy market developments (renewables, flexibility, grid).
• Work with Sales & Marketing on content, events and initiatives.
