Job summary

ZeroTier, Inc. is seeking a Senior Sales Engineer (Pre-Sales) to own the technical win for a category-defining connectivity platform. You will lead discovery, solution architecture, and POV engagements for diverse clients while building the SE playbooks for a scaling team.

As the second SE hire, you will shape the technical roadmap, influence the product direction, and drive adoption in secure, decentralized networking across remote-first environments.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of customer-facing experience in a quota-carrying Sales Engineering or Solutions Architecture role in networking or cybersecurity.
• Deep mastery of Layer 2/3 networking, NAT traversal, firewalls, and packet-level analysis with relevant tools.
• Ability to translate cryptographic and networking concepts into business value for technical and executive audiences.

Responsibilities

• Lead the entire technical sales cycle including discovery, demos, and POV engagements for enterprise prospects.
• Architect complex overlay network solutions across hosted, self-hosted, and air-gapped environments.
• Develop reference architectures, technical battle cards, and automated demo environments to scale the GTM team.
