Russell Tobin is seeking a Senior Sales Director to drive commercial growth in the data center and critical infrastructure market across the Netherlands and the broader EMEA region. You will lead regional sales strategy and align with engineering teams to deliver high-value solutions.

The role requires 10+ years in complex B2B technical sales, a strong network with data center operators and hyperscalers, and the ability to engage C-level stakeholders. Travel across NL and EMEA is expected.

About the role

We are looking for a Senior Sales Director to lead and further develop the commercial growth of a fast-growing international technology business within the data center and critical infrastructure market.

In this strategic leadership role, you will be responsible for developing key customer relationships, driving regional revenue growth and expanding the company's position within the rapidly evolving data center ecosystem.

You will work closely with senior stakeholders, customers and internal engineering teams to develop solutions for complex infrastructure requirements, with a particular focus on power, energy efficiency and critical infrastructure technologies.

Your responsibilities

• Develop and execute the regional sales strategy across the Netherlands and wider EMEA market.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with data center operators, hyperscalers, infrastructure providers, EPCs and other strategic customers.
• Drive revenue growth, new business development and strategic account expansion.
• Lead and develop commercial teams and ensure delivery against regional sales targets.
• Identify market trends and new opportunities, particularly within the rapidly growing AI and high-density data center market.
• Work closely with engineering and product teams to develop and position complex technical solutions.
• Lead high-value negotiations and establish long-term strategic partnerships.
• Provide market intelligence and commercial insights to senior management.
• Represent the organization at industry events and with key strategic customers.

What we're looking for

We are looking for a senior commercial leader with a strong track record in the data center, critical infrastructure or related technology sector.

You bring:

• 10+ years of experience in complex B2B technical sales.
• Proven experience within the data center, critical power, energy infrastructure or mission-critical technology market.
• A strong network among data center operators, hyperscalers, EPCs and/or infrastructure providers.
• Experience managing strategic accounts and complex, long-cycle sales processes.
• Demonstrated responsibility for significant revenue targets and business growth.
• Experience leading and developing sales teams.
• Strong commercial, strategic and negotiation skills.
• The ability to engage confidently with C-level and senior technical stakeholders.
• A hands-on, entrepreneurial and results-driven approach.
• Willingness to travel across the Netherlands and wider EMEA region.
• Fluency in English; Dutch is highly preferred.
