Sartre Group are partnered with a fast-growing algorithmic trading firm to hire a Senior Software Engineer (Rust) into a core infrastructure team in Amsterdam.

This team builds and runs the data platform the whole business relies on, from real-time market and trading data through to the historical data used by trading, research and risk. The platform is run in-house rather than on managed services, and you’ll take technical ownership of it, with real influence over how it evolves.

Formación

• 5+ years of software engineering experience with production data infrastructure.
• Strong Rust, or strong C/C++ with a willingness to work in Rust.
• Hands-on with streaming platforms and databases (Kafka, PostgreSQL, ClickHouse).
• Solid knowledge of distributed systems and end-to-end ownership.

Responsabilidades

• Build low-latency pipelines ingesting market and trading data in real time.
• Design and operate high-throughput streaming and messaging systems.
• Develop real-time aggregation and long-term storage that stay fast as data grows.
• Ensure data accuracy and catch issues before downstream users.
