Job summary

QuantWare in Delft is seeking a Senior RF engineer to join the R&D team in hardware engineering. You will own the full lifecycle of flex interconnect systems across product generations, from concept to manufacture, in a hybrid working setup with collaboration across teams.

The role emphasizes signal integrity, RF performance, vendor coordination, and leadership of an engineering team; experience with superconducting circuits and cryogenic environments is a bonus.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of hands-on RF engineering experience.
• Strong background in high-frequency interconnect design.
• Experience with RF simulation software and measurement equipment.
• Proven ability to lead hardware/R&D projects.

Responsibilities

• Drive Flex Architecture: oversee full lifecycle of flex interconnect systems across product generations from concept to manufacturing.
• RF & Mechanical Optimization: maintain high signal integrity while ensuring durability and thermal performance.
• Vendor Management: coordinate with external partners to translate RF, mechanical and system specs into clear requirements.
• Timeline Execution: manage supplier development schedules and track milestones to meet the roadmap.
• Direct Line Leadership: lead and grow an engineering team focused on flex interconnect development and RF integration.
