Job summary

QuantWare in Delft is seeking a mid-level RF Test Infrastructure Engineer to join the hardware R&D team. You will plan and execute RF and DC test campaigns, build scalable measurement infrastructure, and own validation end-to-end from setup to reporting.

You will work with an interdisciplinary team, improve test repeatability and measurement standards, and contribute to characterisation of high-density interconnects and RF links. A hands-on role with cryogenic testing is valued.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in electrical engineering, applied physics, or a related field.
• 3+ years of experience in test, validation, or characterisation of deep-tech or low-volume hardware.
• Hands-on RF and/or DC measurement with VNAs and SMUs.

Responsibilities

• Test & Validate Devices: Plan and execute RF and DC test campaigns, verifying performance against specifications.
• Build & Scale Measurement Infrastructure: Set up, operate, and maintain room-temperature and cryogenic measurement setups and scale them as needed.
• Investigate & Resolve Anomalies: Diagnose test failures, trace root causes, and feed findings back into device and process improvements.
• Document & Track: Document setups and track process parameters across R&D cycles to build a reusable knowledge base.
