Nebius Group, Amsterdam-based cloud infrastructure company, is seeking an experienced Revenue Accountant to ensure accurate revenue recognition and robust AR processes. You will automate recurring accounting tasks, improve data quality, and build scalable reporting across revenue control and receivables.

The role involves coordinating with Finance, Sales, IT, and treasury to strengthen controls, drive automation, and deliver insightful management reporting in a fast-growing tech environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, or related field.
• 8+ years of experience in Finance, Revenue Accounting, AR, Order-to-Cash, or related accounting functions.
• Strong knowledge of revenue recognition principles under IFRS and US GAAP.
• Hands-on experience with revenue accounting, accounts receivable, journal entries, reconciliations, and financial closing.
• Strong understanding of ERP systems, preferably NetSuite, and experience with CRM, billing, and revenue management systems.
• Advanced SQL and Excel skills with data modelling and large financial datasets.

Responsabilités

• Review customer contracts and commercial arrangements to determine appropriate accounting treatment, revenue recognition implications, and billing requirements.
• Support revenue accounting processes from contract execution through cash collection, ensuring accurate revenue recognition per US GAAP.
• Perform revenue and accounts receivable accounting activities, including journal entries, adjustments, accruals, reconciliations, and monthly/quarterly closings.
• Analyze revenue, billing, accounts receivable, and collections to identify risks, discrepancies, and improvement opportunities.
• Support accounting for contract modifications, credit notes, refunds, and other revenue-related balances and estimates.
• Validate data flows between Salesforce, billing platforms, NetSuite, BlackLine, subledgers, and general ledger.
