SKIM is seeking a Senior Research Lead, Tech & Travel, to partner with leading travel and technology clients from Rotterdam, London, Berlin or Paris. You will translate complex business questions into robust research designs and deliver actionable recommendations across strategic consulting, account and project leadership, and research across methodologies.

The role involves guiding senior stakeholders, growing client partnerships, and driving cross-functional insight generation.

Qualifications

• 8–10 years of market research, consultancy and/or client-side research experience.
• Strong ability to translate business questions into robust research designs and compelling storytelling.
• Broad understanding of quantitative or mixed-methods research.

Specifically, You Will Be Expected To

• Strategic consulting: you will scope client questions by challenging the brief, uncovering the underlying business need, and translating this into a robust research design. You will act as a trusted advisor to clients, helping them define the right questions and identify the most effective approach to answer them.
• Account management: you will be leading, growing and nurturing different clients independently. You are encouraged to take ownership of both well-established accounts and new ones. The goal is to develop strong client partnerships with a long-term view, based on trust and expertise
• Project management: you will be leading and contribute hands-on to senior stakeholder interviews, kick-off sessions, questionnaire development, analysis, storytelling and client presentations
• Research leadership: you will work across a broad range of methodologies and business challenges, including value proposition development, brand understanding, brand communications, usage & attitude studies, innovation testing, and segmentation-related projects. You will bring together different research approaches to deliver clear, actionable recommendations that drive client decision-making.

Qualifications

• 8-10 years of relevant experience in market research, consultancy and/or client-side research roles
• Strong experience translating business questions into robust research designs, effective questionnaires, and compelling storytelling that turns complex findings into clear, actionable recommendations
• Broad methodological understanding across quantitative or mixed-methods research
• Strong client management skills, with the ability to build trust, push back constructively and communicate clearly with senior stakeholders
• A hands-on approach to senior project leadership
• Experience outside CPG is a plus, especially in tech, travel, digital platforms, subscription models or other fast-moving industries
• You are authorised to work in the location you apply for, for example as a resident, citizen, valid visa holder or equivalent
