Job summary

Karl Lagerfeld is seeking a Senior Business Analyst in Amsterdam to drive business performance through data-led insights and strategic analysis. This hands-on role requires strong commercial judgement and the ability to challenge assumptions and influence stakeholders.

Working across functions, markets and channels, you will identify opportunities to accelerate revenue growth, improve profitability and support informed commercial decisions.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of experience in business analytics or a similar data-driven role.
• Strong analytical mindset with the ability to translate data into actionable insights.
• Advanced Excel skills (including complex formulas, pivot tables).
• Experience with BI tools (e.g. Qlik Sense) is a plus.
• Solid understanding of commercial performance metrics, including sales, margin, inventory and profitability.
• Strong communication skills with the ability to work cross-functionally.
• Fluent in English (written and verbal).

Responsibilities

• Proactively identify and quantify commercial growth opportunities, translating insights into measurable actions.
• Analyze performance across sales, profitability, operations, products, channels, markets, and customers.
• Support forecasting, budgeting, latest estimates and long-range planning with commercially relevant insights.
• Deliver accurate reporting and develop dashboards, improving efficiency and ensuring data quality.
• Partner with Commercial, Finance, Product, Supply Chain, Operations and senior leadership on priorities.
