Job summary

SearchApi is seeking a Senior Ruby on Rails Engineer to become the technical backbone of their product. In this role, you'll tackle complex projects, mentor engineers, and collaborate directly with the CEO and CTO.

This position is fully remote and encourages a hands-on approach to engineering across their entire codebase, ensuring high trust and impact within the team. Ideal candidates will have extensive experience with Ruby on Rails and Stripe, along with a solid grasp of performance optimization and security standards.

Qualifications

• Many years of Ruby on Rails experience.
• Proven track record in building and shipping production Rails apps.
• Experience with Stripe billing, subscriptions, and webhooks.

Responsibilities

• Own the hardest PRs and complex features.
• Review and mentor engineers through code review.
• Build enterprise features and work on billing and payments.
