Job summary

SearchApi is seeking a builder-designer hybrid who crafts a premium developer-facing product. You’ll design in Figma and ship it in production with Hotwire, Turbo, and Tailwind. You’ll own the dashboard, API playground, docs, and marketing experience, ensuring a fast, data-dense, beautiful UI across a modern Rails stack.

You’ll work remotely on a bootstrapped, profitable team delivering real value to developers and customers, with direct impact on signups, activation, and revenue.

Qualifications

• Production frontend you designed and built yourself, with links to show it.
• Fluent in a server-rendered, component-based stack (Rails + Hotwire strongly preferred).
• Experience with Tailwind and a real design tool like Figma.

Responsibilities

• Design and ship, not hand off. Take a feature from Figma to a merged PR: ViewComponents, Stimulus controllers, Tailwind, the whole thing.
