Job summary

VML is seeking a seasoned PXM / Master Data Management Architect in Amsterdam to lead strategic PXM and MDM projects, including product master data solutions. You will gather business requirements, design specifications, and document processes to meet client goals.

Responsibilities include driving global PIM/DAM implementations, guiding cross-functional teams, and delivering scalable, secure architectures with API-driven integrations. A strong cloud and data governance focus underpins this role.

Qualifications

15+ years of overall software development experience.
Bachelor's degree in computer science or equivalent.
Hands-on with at least one PIM platform such as Salsify, Syndigo, or Akeneo.
4+ years of experience in PXM, MDM, and related domains.
Experience with data models, taxonomy design, and digital asset workflows.
Strong understanding of API-driven integrations and cloud automation.
Currently living in The Netherlands with a valid work permit.

Responsibilities

Lead digital projects across regions (NA, Europe, LATAM, Asia) using PIM tools and cloud integrations.
Support presales by delivering end-to-end architectures and technology strategy.
Build and manage product data and digital content for digital shelf and marketing platforms.
Oversee global rollouts of PIM, MDM, and DAM systems with consistent product information.
