Job summary

JBT Marel Boxmeer is seeking a Senior Solution Architect for PLM & Engineering Applications. You will shape architecture across PLM, CAD, ERP, and cloud, ensuring secure, scalable solutions and governance.

You will lead design efforts, translate business needs into lasting technical architectures, collaborate with stakeholders, and drive standardization while delivering tangible project outcomes in a global, hybrid work environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in IT, Engineering, Computer Science, or related field.
• 8+ years of experience in IT, engineering applications, PLM, or similar environment.
• 5+ years in a Solution Architect/Technical Architect role.
• 10-15 years in complex international enterprise organizations.
• Strong experience in PLM and engineering application environments.
• Experience with Windchill, CONTACT Software, Autodesk Vault or similar PLM platforms.
• Knowledge of CAD solutions such as Creo, SolidWorks, Inventor.
• Ability to translate business requirements into sustainable enterprise solutions.

Responsibilities

• Define and own solution architectures for PLM and engineering systems.
• Lead architectural design for PLM transformation and implementation programs.
• Develop, document, and defend High-Level Designs and Solution Designs.
• Translate business capabilities into scalable, secure technology solutions.
• Ensure alignment between PLM, CAD, ERP, integrations, infrastructure, cloud and cybersecurity domains.
• Drive standardization and harmonization across engineering applications and processes.
• Provide technical leadership to implementation teams and external partners.
• Support architectural governance and technology roadmap development.
• Own lifecycle management, platform upgrades, and security improvements.
• Collaborate with business leaders, engineering teams, vendors and enterprise architects.
