Responsabilités

• Lead development and execution of capital projects aligned with objectives and safety standards.
• Coordinate with plant Project and Engineering Managers to maintain the 3-year master plan.
• Ensure timely completion, budget accuracy, and quality delivery.
• Critically evaluate CARs, challenging schedules, budgets, scope and constructability while promoting viable solutions.
• Support project teams as knowledge reviewer during CAR/Pre-CAR/Emergence CAR and FEL prep.
• Act as first approver for scope changes impacting budget or timeline; lead supplementary CAR processes.
• Collaborate with Manufacturing, Supply Chain Development, Procurement and Logistics for project delivery.
• Ensure compliance with Engineering Standards, KHMS and Project Procedures.
• Drive Engineering Managers to identify opportunities to improve equipment and processes.
• Develop relationships with Factory Managers and Operations Leadership.
• Provide technical guidance and lead KHMS adoption within factories.
• Collaborate with PMO to prepare project status reports.
• Support confidential projects with project mgmt expertise as needed.
• Assist handover to maintenance and asset activation on books at project close-out.

Job Description

Job Summary:

The Project and Engineering Snr Manager will support the Head of Capital Projects & Engineering, Europe, in delivering capital projects that align with business objectives while ensuring compliance with quality, environmental, and safety standards. This role emphasizes strategic planning, project execution, technical expertise, and stakeholder management.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the development and execution of capital projects, ensuring alignment with business objectives and compliance with quality, environmental, and safety standards.
• Coordinate with plant Project and Engineering Managers to maintain the 3-year master plan.
• Ensure the successful execution of capital projects by challenging and supporting plants project team to guarantee timely completion, budget accuracy, and quality delivery.
• Critically evaluate Project CARs, challenging schedules, budgets, scope, and constructability while promoting solutions that meet business needs.
• Support Project Team as focal point of knowledge and reviewer during project CAR/Pre-CAR/Emergence CAR development, Pre-TPR, TPR, and FEL preparation and presentations.
• Evaluate and act as the first approver for project scope changes that impact scope, budget, and/or timelines, leading the supplementary CAR preparation and approval process.
• Coordinate with cross-functional teams, including Manufacturing, Supply Chain Development, Procurement, and Logistics, to ensure successful project delivery.
• Ensure compliance with Engineering Standards, Preferred Suppliers, and Project Procedures.
• Support the Head of CAPEX and Engineering in implementing robust project management processes, enforcing KHMS also on design.
• Drive plant Engineering Managers to identify and develop opportunities for improving existing equipment, production lines, and operating systems to maximize efficiency and output.
• Develop and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including Factory Managers, Package Sponsors, and the Operations Leadership Team.
• Provide technical expertise and guidance to the team on project-related matters.
• Lead the adoption of the Engineering Pillar of the Manufacturing Playbook (KHMS) within factories and ensure technical excellence across the Capital Engineering team.
• Collaborate with the PMO to prepare project status reports.
• Act as Project Manager for confidential projects aways when requested, supporting the Business, Network Design, and SCD teams with project management expertise until the handover to the project.
• Support plant Project Engineering Leads in the master data handover process during project completion/close-out to ensure a seamless transition to maintenance (and asset activation on the books.
