ITEC in the Netherlands is seeking a Senior Project Manager R&D to lead complex technology development projects from concept to product release. You will coordinate multidisciplinary teams across engineering disciplines, manage scope, quality, planning, cost and risk, and ensure alignment with business and technology goals.

You’ll own project plans, escalate risks, and drive continuous improvement of PM methods.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's in a technical engineering discipline.
• Around 10 years of project management experience in high-performance equipment.
• Proven experience leading complex projects in a technical environment.
• Strong knowledge of PM methodologies, tools and best practices.
• Strong leadership, communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Ability to work with multidisciplinary and international teams.
• Experience with semiconductor equipment is an advantage.
• PMI/IPMA/PRINCE2 or equivalent certification is preferred.

Your challenge ITEC is redefining Semiconductor Manufacturing. At ITEC we design and build high-volume, high-speed and high-accuracy machines that enable our customers to assemble and test 250 million semiconductors every single day.

Are you an experienced Project Manager who enjoys leading complex technology development projects and bringing multidisciplinary teams together? As Senior Project Manager R&D, you will lead development projects from an initial concept through to successful product release.

You will balance scope, quality, planning, cost and risk while ensuring that technical and business objectives remain aligned. Working in a highly technical environment, you will be at the center of collaboration between different engineering disciplines and stakeholders, turning ambitious technology roadmaps into successfully delivered solutions. As Senior Project Manager, you take ownership of complex R&D projects and create the structure and alignment needed to move them forward. You lead multidisciplinary teams, bring stakeholders together and make sure that priorities, dependencies and risks are transparent. You will work across the complete development cycle, from requirements and system design through prototyping, integration, verification and validation to final product release. Your leadership is not only about managing schedules and budgets. You create an environment in which technical specialists can work effectively together, decisions are made at the right time, and project objectives remain closely connected to our business and technology ambitions.

Your Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain integrated project plans aligned with business priorities and stakeholder expectations.
• Lead multidisciplinary project teams and deliver projects within the agreed scope, quality, schedule and budget.
• Create transparency on project progress, risks, dependencies and topics requiring escalation.
• Ensure the right project resources and competencies are available to achieve project goals.
• Identify and manage project risks and establish contingency plans where needed.
• Manage changes in project scope and support well-informed decision-making.
• Ensure projects follow applicable quality standards and development processes.
• Contribute your experience and ideas to continuously improve our project management methods, tools and ways of working.

Your Profile

You are an experienced Project Manager who combines strong project management skills with a good understanding of complex technical development environments. You know how to create structure without losing sight of innovation and are comfortable leading teams consisting of specialists from different technical disciplines. You communicate clearly, build alignment between different stakeholders and know how to translate complex technical and business topics into concrete actions and decisions. Besides that, you have:

• A bachelor's or master's degree in a technical engineering discipline.
• Around 10 years of project management experience, preferably within the development of high-performance equipment.
• Proven experience leading complex projects in a technical business environment.
• Strong knowledge of project management methodologies, tools and best practices.
• Strong leadership, communication and stakeholder management skills.
• The ability to work effectively with multidisciplinary and international teams.
• Experience with semiconductor equipment or comparable high-performance machinery is an advantage.
• A PMI, IPMA, PRINCE2 or equivalent project management certification is preferred.
