Job summary

Beyond Sports, a Sony Sports Company, onsite in Alkmaar, is seeking a Senior Project Manager for a 12-month FTC. You will lead consumer-facing software initiatives across websites, mobile apps, and data visualisation products, partnering with clients and internal teams to deliver high-impact digital experiences.

You'll own project delivery from concept to launch, collaborating with Product, Design, Engineering, QA and Business Development to maximise value and strengthen client relationships.

Qualifications

• 5+ years managing software or digital product projects.
• Experience delivering web, mobile, SaaS, or data-driven tech solutions.
• Experience working in Agile delivery environments.

Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end delivery of complex, high-value software projects across multiple disciplines.
• Primary point of contact for clients and senior stakeholders throughout the project lifecycle.
• Manage scope, timelines, budgets, risks and resource planning for successful delivery.
• Collaborate with Design, Engineering, QA and Product teams to drive agile delivery.
• Translate client requirements and feedback into clear scope, requirements and user stories.
• Identify opportunities to provide additional value to clients through understanding objectives and capabilities.
• Drive continuous improvement by adopting new ways of working for delivery efficiency and quality.
• Maintain clear project reporting and proactively manage risks, dependencies and escalations.
• Support live sporting events when required as a key escalation point during critical delivery periods.
• Mentor and support other Project Managers and share best practices.

We're looking for an experienced Senior Project Manager to lead the delivery of complex, consumer-facing software projects across our global sports portfolio.

The Opportunity

As a Senior Project Manager, you'll take ownership of large-scale digital projects from concept through to launch, working across websites, mobile applications, data visualisation products, and other innovative sports technology solutions.

You'll act as a trusted partner to both clients and internal teams, ensuring successful delivery while identifying opportunities to maximise value and strengthen client relationships. This is a highly visible role where you'll collaborate with stakeholders across Product, Design, Engineering, QA, and Business Development to deliver exceptional outcomes.

What You'll Be Doing

What We're Looking For

• 5+ years' experience managing software or digital product projects.
• Strong experience delivering web, mobile, SaaS, or data-driven technology solutions.
• Ability to confidently engage with both technical and non-technical stakeholders at all levels.
• Proven experience managing multiple complex projects simultaneously in fast-paced environments.
• Excellent stakeholder management, communication, and relationship-building skills.
• Strong commercial awareness, including experience managing budgets, forecasting, and resource planning.
• Experience working within Agile delivery environments.
• A proactive mindset with strong problem-solving and decision-making capabilities.
• Demonstrated ability to identify and mitigate project risks while maintaining delivery quality.
• Passion for mentoring others and contributing to a collaborative team culture.
