  • Partner with engineering teams, product managers, designers, and stakeholders to align objectives and develop clear execution roadmaps.
  • Communicate regular updates to stakeholders and manage expectations around programme progress and decisions.
  • Identify and address risks and dependencies across projects before they impact programme goals or timelines.
  • Enhance programme management practices, tools, and methods to improve team efficiency and effectiveness.
  • Mentor junior programme managers and engineering teams to build a collaborative, high-performing culture.
  • Define and track KPIs for programme progress, quality, and timelines, reporting outcomes to senior leadership.
  • Work with the VP of Engineering to iterate on how the area operates, covering areas such as delivery tracking, operational excellence, and workforce planning.
What We Are Looking For
  • 10+ years of experience in technical programme management, with a demonstrated track record of delivering multi-team technology programmes at scale.
  • Extensive experience partnering directly with software engineering teams, with mastery of project management fundamentals including scope, schedule, budget, quality management, and risk assessment.
  • Strong technical acumen, with the ability to create and evaluate system-level technical designs.
  • Thorough knowledge of the software development lifecycle (SDLC), product development lifecycle (PDLC), system design, and cloud architecture within a product-led microservice organisation.
  • Proven ability to lead cross-functional teams, establish efficient processes, and manage complex release schedules.
  • Track record of developing and implementing successful product and technical roadmaps.
  • Outstanding communication and stakeholder management skills, including experience influencing executive leadership and explaining complex technical concepts to diverse audiences.
  • Strong leadership capabilities, with a proven record of leading and influencing outside of direct line management.
