Job summary

Booking.com is seeking a Senior Project Manager based in the Netherlands, Hybrid work, to own end-to-end delivery of high-impact programs within the Accommodations Business Unit. You will drive scoping, strategy, and handover, coordinating across Product, Tech, Legal, Tax and Partner teams.

You will manage governance, risk, and dependencies, translate unclear needs into solid plans, and lead change management for company-wide implementations.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of relevant work experience.
• Strong project management experience; background in Agile PM.
• PMP or Agile PM certification preferred.
• Ability to use quantitative and qualitative data to drive decisions.
• Familiar with change management approaches and the change curve.
• Excellent communication of project insights to stakeholders.
• Ability to influence up to Senior Managers and Directors.
• Highly organized and structured with reliable processes.
• Lead, motivate and manage stakeholders and project teams.
• Flexibility to operate in ambiguity and adapt to change.
• Experience working with Product and Tech teams.

Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end delivery of priority programs across ABU and related stakeholders.
• Design and implement project governance and delivery structures.
• Own project scoping, planning and associated documentation with sponsors and teams.
• Drive plan execution, ensure on-time Go-Live and smooth handover to operations.
• Track status and report progress; identify and mitigate risks, issues and dependencies.
• Define success metrics for projects and workstreams.
• Lead independent workshops to support project delivery.
• Contribute to PM methodology and standards adoption across the company.
