Job summary

Huispedia is seeking a senior designer to advance product thinking and turn ambiguous problems into delightful software experiences in a fast-paced startup environment. You will partner closely with engineers and other designers to shape features for web and mobile.

You will also contribute to our lightweight design system and own projects with a high degree of autonomy. Curiosity, initiative, and the ability to balance quality with speed are valued.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 5 years designing software products.
• Curious and confident: you are willing to ask questions, try new things, and advocate for your ideas.
• Self-starter attitude: you have the ability to take initiative and manage your own projects with minimal supervision.
• Strong problem solving skills, you are able to handle complexity and are able to strike the balance between quality and moving fast.
• Experience working in fast paced environments such as start-ups or scaleups.

Responsibilities

• Turn broad and ambiguous problems into delightful products. We will empower you to create innovative solutions that will impact the housing market.
• Work closely with the other designers and software engineers to shape and iterate on product features across web and mobile.
• Proactively spot problems, taking the lead where needed and actively engaging with the rest of the team to bring design-thinking to Huispedia.
• You'll work within and contribute to our lightweight design system
