Job summary

Siemens Software in Rotterdam seeks a Product Designer to lead UX from concept to final implementation. You will translate user insights into human-centered designs, using prototypes and usability validation with customers and stakeholders.

The role requires a design degree and 2–5+ years of experience, with strong Figma and design-systems skills, and excellent English communication in a hybrid Rotterdam-based office.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or master's degree in design or proven equivalent experience.
• 2–5+ years of proven experience as a product designer.
• Expert proficiency in Figma and demonstrated experience working with design systems.
• Excellent English communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to function independently in a fast-paced, dynamic work environment.
• Experience evaluating and validating product usability with customers to enhance products and processes.
• Meet your colleagues several times per week in a modern office in Rotterdam.

Responsibilities

• Lead UX design across the full product development cycle, from concept to visual and interaction design.
• Use concepts and prototypes to communicate design ideas and advocate for the best user experience.
• Turn user insights into human-centered solutions through regular evaluation of product usability with customers and stakeholders.
• Take full ownership of design from initial prototype to final implementation, proactively identifying and resolving challenges.
• Engage directly with customers for validation and insights, translating those insights into user-friendly designs.
• Stay ahead of industry trends, grow your skills, and share knowledge across teams and R&D units.
