Job summary

HelloFresh is seeking a Senior Procurement Operations Manager in Amsterdam to lead our procurement operations and ensure our supply chain runs efficiently and scalably. You will oversee end-to-end procurement, inventory management, and supplier performance, while driving continuous improvement and cross-functional collaboration across Planning, Production, Finance, Culinary, and Operations.

Responsibilities

• Lead and develop the Procurement Operations team for purchasing, supplier coordination, inventory management and waste reduction.
• Own end-to-end procurement ops to deliver OTIFQ to support uninterrupted production.
• Drive inventory governance to ensure product availability and efficiency while minimising waste.
• Champion zero-waste through optimisation of purchasing, inventory controls and forecasting inputs.
• Collaborate with Planning, Finance, Supply Chain, Culinary and Production to optimise purchasing strategies.
• Monitor procurement KPIs, data quality, and system accuracy to drive improvements.
• Identify opportunities to automate and standardise procurement and inventory processes.
• Develop dashboards showing procurement performance, inventory health and supplier performance.

We're looking for a Senior Procurement Operations Manager to lead our Procurement Operations function and ensure our supply chain is running efficiently, scalable, and commercially effective. You'll oversee the end-to-end procurement operations process, optimise inventory and supplier performance, and continuously improve the systems and processes that keep our production running smoothly.

Working cross-functionally with Planning, Production, Finance, Culinary, and Operations, you'll play a key role in ensuring the right products are available at the right time, while driving operational excellence and supporting Factor's continued growth.

What You’ll Do

• Lead and develop our Procurement Operations team, responsible for purchasing, supplier coordination, inventory management, and waste reduction.


• Own the end-to-end procurement operations process, ensuring ingredients and packaging are delivered On Time, In Full, and In Quality (OTIFQ) to support uninterrupted production.


• Drive inventory governance, ensuing product availability and operational efficiency while minimising waste and stock risk.


• Champion our zero-waste strategy through continuous optimisation of purchasing parameters, inventory controls, and forecasting inputs.


• Partner closely with Planning, Finance, Supply Chain, Culinary, and Production to optimize purchasing strategies and ensure smooth day-to-day operations.


• Monitor procurement KPIs, purchasing data, and system accuracy, using insights to identify trends, resolve discrepancies, and drive operational improvements.


• Identify opportunities to automate, simplify, and standardise procurement and inventory processes through data, technology, and continuous improvement initiatives.


• Develop reporting and dashboards that provide clear visibility of procurement performance, inventory health, supplier performance, and key operational KPIs.


• Foster a culture of continuous improvement, operational excellence, and data-driven decision making across Procurement Operations.

What You’ll Bring

• At least 5-6 years of relevant work experience in a Supply Chain, Operations, Procurement or Production field


• Stress resilience and a hands-on approach


• A proactive, data-driven, and result-oriented mindset


• Flexibility for occasional weekend work and travel


• Excellent communication skills, able to work across different teams and cultures


• Fluency in English (German knowledge is a plus)
