Job summary

HelloFresh's Factor Europe business in Amsterdam is seeking a Senior Procurement Operations Manager to lead the procurement operations function, optimise inventory and supplier performance, and keep production running smoothly.

You will partner with Planning, Production, Finance and Operations to ensure OTIFQ delivery, drive continuous improvement, and champion a data-driven approach across purchasing and inventory.

Qualifications

• 5–6 years of experience in Supply Chain, Operations, Procurement or Production.
• Stress resilience with a hands-on approach.
• Proactive, data-driven, result-oriented mindset.
• Willingness to occasional weekend work and travel.
• Excellent communication across teams and cultures.
• Fluency in English; German knowledge is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Lead and develop the Procurement Operations team, handling purchasing, supplier coordination, inventory management, and waste reduction.
• Own end-to-end procurement operations, ensuring OTIFQ delivery to support uninterrupted production.
• Drive inventory governance to ensure product availability and minimize waste and stock risk.
• Champion zero-waste strategies through better purchasing parameters and forecasting inputs.
• Partner with Planning, Finance, Supply Chain, Culinary, and Production to optimize purchasing strategies.
• Monitor procurement KPIs, data quality, and system accuracy to drive improvements.
• Identify opportunities to automate and standardize procurement and inventory processes.

The role

Factor is our newest brand - a healthy, ready-to-eat meal delivery service, and one of the fastest-growing parts of the HelloFresh Group’s European business.

We're looking for a Senior Procurement Operations Manager to lead our Procurement Operations function and ensure our supply chain is running efficiently, scalable, and commercially effective. You'll oversee the end-to-end procurement operations process, optimise inventory and supplier performance, and continuously improve the systems and processes that keep our production running smoothly.

Working cross-functionally with Planning, Production, Finance, Culinary, and Operations, you'll play a key role in ensuring the right products are available at the right time, while driving operational excellence and supporting Factor's continued growth.

What you’ll do

• Lead and develop our Procurement Operations team, responsible for purchasing, supplier coordination, inventory management, and waste reduction.
• Own the end-to-end procurement operations process, ensuring ingredients and packaging are delivered On Time, In Full, and In Quality (OTIFQ) to support uninterrupted production.
• Drive inventory governance, ensuing product availability and operational efficiency while minimising waste and stock risk.
• Champion our zero-waste strategy through continuous optimisation of purchasing parameters, inventory controls, and forecasting inputs.
• Partner closely with Planning, Finance, Supply Chain, Culinary, and Production to optimize purchasing strategies and ensure smooth day-to-day operations.
• Monitor procurement KPIs, purchasing data, and system accuracy, using insights to identify trends, resolve discrepancies, and drive operational improvements.
• Identify opportunities to automate, simplify, and standardise procurement and inventory processes through data, technology, and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Develop reporting and dashboards that provide clear visibility of procurement performance, inventory health, supplier performance, and key operational KPIs.
• Foster a culture of continuous improvement, operational excellence, and data-driven decision making across Procurement Operations.

What you’ll bring

• At least 5-6 years of relevant work experience in a Supply Chain, Operations, Procurement or Production field
• Stress resilience and a hands-on approach
• A proactive, data-driven, and result-oriented mindset
• Flexibility for occasional weekend work and travel
• Excellent communication skills, able to work across different teams and cultures
• Fluency in English (German knowledge is a plus)
