You will partner with Engineering, Product, Data, and Legal to assess privacy risks, review code and architecture, and ensure compliance with Discord's Privacy Principles and regulatory requirements.

Qualifications

• Experience designing privacy programs and DPIAs.
• Operational knowledge of GDPR and global privacy laws.
• Automating privacy compliance and RoPA workflows.
• Ability to automate evidence collection with Python and AI tooling.
• Strong written communication and cross-functional influence.

Responsibilities

• Partner with Engineering, Product, Data, and Legal to perform privacy impact assessments and reviews.
• Develop data privacy policies and controls aligned with industry frameworks.
• Design privacy-preserving product solutions and promote privacy posture across teams.
• Lead privacy impact analysis on incidents and validate remediations.
• Contribute to central privacy systems for data subject rights and automation.
