Samba in Amsterdam seeks an experienced software engineer to join the Identity team, designing and operating large-scale, cloud-native data pipelines for identity resolution, data onboarding, and distribution. You will lead the evolution of core identity systems, focusing on reliability, privacy, and scalable architecture.

Formación

• 12+ years of professional software engineering in data engineering, backend, or distributed data infrastructure.
• Strong Python and SQL; comfortable with JavaScript in API contexts.
• Experience with cloud platforms (AWS/GCP) and data services; ETL/ELT workflows.
• Experience building API-first platform services and privacy-preserving data collaboration.

Responsabilidades

• Build and operate large-scale data pipelines for ingesting, transforming, and distributing identity-linked data.
• Design API-first platform services exposing Identity capabilities as self-service blocks.
• Own the technical evolution of Identity systems, including matching and device graph construction.
• Build secure collaboration features, including clean rooms and GDPR/CCPA compliance.
• Set technical direction for Identity systems; write design docs; roadmap collaboration.
• Own reliability, incident response, SLAs/SLOs, and CI/CD maturity.
• Lead code/design reviews and mentor engineers on the Identity team.
