Job summary

Divitel is building MindRelay, our observability platform that monitors video and broadband infrastructure for operators worldwide. You will design the platform architecture, focusing on scalability, reliability, and observability, and own data pipelines processing millions of events daily from multi-vendor environments.

You will manage Kubernetes deployments, CI/CD, and infrastructure-as-code, collaborating with operations to translate monitoring requirements into platform capabilities.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of backend or platform engineering experience.
• Proficiency in Python and/or Go.
• Experience with event streaming systems such as Kafka or RabbitMQ.
• Hands-on experience with Kubernetes and container-based deployments.
• Solid understanding of observability concepts: metrics, logs, traces.
• Experience with time-series databases (InfluxDB, TimescaleDB, or similar).
• Fluent in English; Dutch is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Design and evolve the MindRelay platform architecture with focus on scalability, reliability, and observability.
• Build and maintain data ingestion pipelines processing millions of events daily from multi-vendor environments.
• Own the platform runtime: Kubernetes deployments, CI/CD pipelines, and infrastructure-as-code.
• Collaborate with operations teams to translate monitoring requirements into platform capabilities.
• Mentor junior engineers and drive technical decision-making within the team.
• Participate in on-call rotation and contribute to incident post-mortems.
